Risk first
One percent per trade, three percent per day. Decided before the session, not during it.
BrandA Dutch trader, a process built on macro-economics, and a platform written to keep both of them honest.
Why this platform exists, how the process was built, and what it took to get here.
I am Rick, a Dutch trader working mostly in gold, indices and FX. The interest started with the macro side rather than the charts: why rate decisions move currencies, why an inflation print can reprice a whole curve in a morning.
That order still holds. The economics tells me which direction deserves the benefit of the doubt. The chart only tells me where the trade is.
Several accounts, a lot of screen time, and a stack of exports that do not lie. The pattern in them was never the entries - it was what happened after two losses in a row, and how much bigger the next position got.
That is the honest version, and it is why this platform exists: to show me the pattern instead of letting me remember a friendlier one.
Size comes from the stop distance, never from conviction. A setup you feel strongly about is still one stop away from being wrong.
A losing day ends at a number you decided before the session, not at the moment you feel finished.
Reviewing by setup rather than by outcome is the only way to learn anything. Judging trades by their result teaches you that winners were good decisions.
A platform that answers the questions I actually have on a Sunday evening: which session is costing me money, which setup is carrying the account, what changed when I filtered a rule out of the backtest.
Everything personal stays behind a login. What is public is the thinking, not the positions.
Trade with a process, not a feeling - and build the tools that make the process checkable rather than aspirational.
One percent per trade, three percent per day. Decided before the session, not during it.
No FX position without knowing what both central banks are expected to do next.
Every trade, including the ones I would rather forget. Especially those.
Grouped by strategy, never by outcome. Thirty trades before drawing a conclusion.
